Business Controller
As a business controller you are responsible for all financial reports, as well as cost control to ensure accurate reporting. You are involved in initiatives to improve financial processes and operational performance, including Target and KPI setting. You will advise on financial issues in connection with new projects.
Key responsibilities
- Generation/review of monthly, annual an adhoc financial reports (internal/external)
- Update HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
- Ensure accurate forecasting
- Cost control to ensure accurate reporting
- Preparation of annual reports & corporate taxes, including liaison with auditors
- Coordination of budget process
- Business analysis and preparation of business cases
- Initiation improvements reporting process, accounting process and financial closing process
- Submission subsidy/tax claims (WBSO, BAV, REB, others)
- Submission mandatory statistics to governmental agencies (CBS)
- Backup for financial Controller
Key skills/abilities
- Relevant Financial degree (HBO or WO)
- 3-5 years working experience in a similar function
- Strong background in finance and accounting procedures
- Good analytical and financial modeling skills
- Excellent cooperative skills
- Be detailed, accurate and a good time manager
- Work independent and take responsibilities
- Sense of initiative
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Fluent in Dutch and English (German is a pre)
